🔹 Project Overview

I successfully designed and implemented a Panel Board Controlling Circuit for industrial operations in just 15 days, under the supervision of M. Power Engineering. This project involved building a fully functional and safe control system panel capable of operating multiple electrical loads with protection, automation, and reliability.


🔹 Objectives

  • Design a safe and efficient panel board circuit.

  • Provide manual & automatic control for motors and other industrial loads.

  • Integrate protection devices (MCB, overload relay, fuses).

  • Ensure proper wiring, labeling, and neat finishing for industrial standards.

  • Deliver the project within a tight 15-day schedule.


🔹 Process & Execution

1. Requirement Analysis (Day 1–2)

  • Discussed control needs with M. Power Engineering.

  • Identified components: MCBs, contactors, relays, timers, push buttons, selector switches, overload protection.

  • Prepared single line diagram (SLD) and circuit diagram.

2. Component Procurement (Day 3–5)

  • Sourced all materials and tools.

  • Verified component ratings (voltage, current capacity, thermal limits).

  • Ensured availability of wiring accessories and safety gear.

3. Panel Board Assembly (Day 6–10)

  • Installed DIN rails, busbars, terminal blocks, wiring ducts.

  • Mounted MCBs, relays, contactors, timers neatly.

  • Completed power wiring (supply line, protection, load line).

  • Completed control wiring (switches, start/stop push buttons, indication lamps).

4. Testing & Troubleshooting (Day 11–13)

  • Performed continuity and insulation checks.

  • Tested manual & automatic operation sequences.

  • Adjusted overload relay settings for motor protection.

  • Resolved wiring issues and fine-tuned control logic.

5. Final Delivery & Documentation (Day 14–15)

  • Labeled all wires, components, and circuits.

  • Prepared circuit diagram documentation.

  • Delivered panel to M. Power Engineering with demonstration.
