🔹 Project Overview

Over a period of three years, I was actively involved in a large-scale Industrial Maintenance Project under M. Power Engineering. The project focused on ensuring the continuous operation, safety, and efficiency of electrical and mechanical systems in industrial facilities.

This long-term engagement required regular inspections, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and emergency troubleshooting to minimize downtime and keep production processes running smoothly.


🔹 Objectives

  • Maintain and optimize industrial electrical systems (control panels, motors, distribution boards, PLCs).

  • Provide preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industrial standards.

  • Deliver 24/7 support and troubleshooting for critical operations.

  • Support system upgrades, modifications, and expansions over time.


🔹 Scope of Work & Responsibilities

1. Preventive Maintenance

  • Regular servicing of motors, pumps, and industrial machines.

  • Checking and calibrating relays, sensors, and control equipment.

  • Cleaning, tightening, and replacing worn-out components.

2. Corrective & Breakdown Maintenance

  • Rapid troubleshooting of electrical faults and system failures.

  • Replacement of damaged contactors, relays, and overload devices.

  • Fault isolation to minimize downtime.

3. Panel & Control Systems Maintenance

  • Inspection and repair of panel boards, MCCs, PLC panels.

  • Updating wiring layouts and documentation.

  • Monitoring load balancing and power distribution.

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensured grounding, insulation, and overload protection.

  • Maintained compliance with industrial safety codes.

  • Conducted routine safety inspections and risk assessments.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Suggested and implemented energy-saving solutions.

  • Assisted in system upgrades and capacity expansion.

  • Worked with engineers to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Multimeter, Clamp meter, Megger (Insulation tester).

  • Electrical hand tools & crimping tools.
